M anaholchi es una organización ambiental sin fines de lucro, su objetivo es crear conciencia sobre el cuidado del medio ambiente y la conservación de los recursos na- turales. Con su iniciativa Ama Holbox y la ayuda de algunas empresas de la isla, han logrado colocar en diferentes puntos de Holbox contenedores fun- cionales que sirven como estaciones de reciclaje. ¿Como ayudar? Deposita los desechos como latas de aluminio, botellas de plástico (PET) y botellas de vidrio en estos con- tenedores, funge como voluntario y únete al esfuerzo de cero plástico en Holbox . M anaholchi is a non-profit environmental organization, its main goal is to create awareness amongst visitors and locals about the care and preservation of the ecosystem. Their initiative Love Holbox -"Ama Holbox" is a joint effort with the cooperation of some compa- nies on the island in order to protect the natural resources of Yum-Balam. They have managed to place several containers across the island that serve as recycling stations. How to help? Find and deposit your aluminum cans, plastic (PET) and glass bottles in these containers. Volunteer, donate and join the effort of reducing to zero the use of plastic in Holbox. 56 • iHolbox Magazine
